Student cooking crash course, live cooking on Zoom perfect for teenagers. They will master essential skills in the kitchen to whip up delicious meals in no time.
They will learn how to prepare quick and easy dishes on Zoom using affordable and accessible ingredients, perfect for when you need a tasty meal quickly.
This workshop is designed to alleviate fears and build your confidence in cooking. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the cooking process, from chopping to seasoning, so you can easily create scrumptious meals.
During the class, you’ll work with various materials and tools, getting hands-on experience that will leave you feeling empowered and enthusiastic about cooking.
What you will learn:
- Monday 9th Sept – Lentil and tomato soup and garlic bread/pizza (various ways!)
- Tuesday 10th Sept – Vegetable rice and chapatis
- Wednesday 11th Sept – Vegetable noodles (three ways!)
During all the lessons, Anne Marie will discuss how each dish can be adapted with different cooking techniques and flavours and make you think about stretching your meals and budget.
Anne Marie is an award-winning cookery instructor of 15 years and is highly experienced in providing basic cooking skills using store-cupboard ingredients and affordable vegetables.
You will look at food differently as she shows you how to make the most of leftovers and store them safely.
You will have the chance to ask lots of questions and receive lots of advice on how to shop more effectively.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a repertoire of last-minute recipes that will impress your friends and family.
