In this pasta and pizza cooking class in Warwick based in the West Midlands, we will be making both pizza and pasta doughs from scratch. A sweet potato and herb ravioli with a garlic butter sauce and tagliatelle in a marinara (tomato and herb) sauce.
What will you learn?
You will make the pasta dough from scratch and learn to use a pasta machine as well as hand rolling so you can make it again at home with ease.
How to make the perfect fillings for your ravioli.
Create a delicious simple sauce with butter and herbs from Anne Marie’s garden.
Make a traditional pizza dough from scratch using local organic flour. Discover how to hand roll to make the perfect base for your favourite pizza toppings.
A rich tomato sauce will be made too along with tagliatelle, which you can eat during the lesson or take home.
Once you have made your own pasta and pizza dough from scratch you will most definitely want to make it again.
Do I need to bring anything?
Ingredients, recipes and refreshments are included in the lesson and the use of aprons. Please bring storage containers for any food not eaten during the lesson.
Is this cooking class suitable for children?
Yes over the age of 11, as there is a lot to take in. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children must have a paid ticket too.
