Pears- 11 easy recipe ideas

Pears are in season August – October in the UK. Did you know they don’t ripen on the tree!

The season can be extended by removing them as and when from middle of August to end of September when they start to fall off the trees.  They also contain high levels of  Copper, Vitamin C and K as well as fibre.

They can be stored in the fridge to slow down ripening too.

Pears can be used in many dishes savoury and sweet.
